One of the world’s largest professional services firms to occupy 51,000 square feet of ICE District tower in 2018
Edmonton, AB (May 12, 2016) - ICE District Joint Venture announced today that PwC Canada has agreed to lease office space in the Stantec Tower. PwC Canada, who plans to move its office to the new building, is scheduled to take over two floors totaling 51,000 square feet in the high rise component of the Tower in December 2018.
Set to open in fall 2018, Stantec Tower will be home to Edmonton’s newest and tallest tower, and one of the tallest structures in Western Canada. The 746 foot high (224 metre) tower will house 28 storeys of offices and approximately 481 residential units.
Located on the corner of 102nd Street and 103rd Avenue, the Tower is designed to be a LEED Gold certified building and upon completion, this mixed-use office, retail and residential project will span approximately one million square feet.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of ICE District. It’s a tribute to everything that’s new and exciting in our great city and showcases to the world that Edmonton is the place to be,” said David Bryan, Edmonton Office Managing Partner, PwC Canada. “This move also demonstrates that both of our organizations are committed to Edmonton and the long term success of our province.”
“We’re excited to welcome one of the world’s largest professional services firms to ICE District,” said Glen Scott, Senior Vice-President, Real Estate, Katz Group, and joint venture partner of ICE District. “Stantec Tower has raised the bar in high-rise development and tenants are recognizing the exceptional workplace amenities and prominent location the Tower has to offer.”
Edmonton’s ICE District will be Canada’s largest mixed-use sports and entertainment district. In addition to office space, ICE District will also feature the future home of the Edmonton Oilers, Rogers Place, plus a vibrant public plaza, a JW Marriott Hotel, condominiums, retail, restaurants, nightlife and more.
